Because I heart having fun and I heart Reno, I’ve dedicated this blog to sharing stories from my many adventures in Northern Nevada.  I hope that while you may be searching or stumbling around for information on one or more of the places or events I’ve visited; my delicately crafted words of wisdom will help you find fun, so you can love the Biggest Little too.

AND/OR if you are throwing an event in the area and would like to give me a pair of tickets in exchange for a story…well I’d love to!

Each post ranks my particular experience on a scale of 0 to 5.  I’m pretty easily entertained, so if you notice post rankings below 4…ornery folk should probably steer clear!

Crystal911 derives from my love of the Comedy Central series “RENO 911!” Just before relocating from Detroit to Reno in 2007, I began going with Crystal911 as my username across the ‘net.  And there you have it, Crystal911, Reno’s Finest.

So who is Crystal Blahnik?

The Bio

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a major in Advertising and a Certificate of Direct Marketing. I have more than six years of distinctive marketing and advertising experience and now mostly focus on web-related projects.

Fulfilling my desire to MOVE WEST, I relocated to Reno, NV in the fall of 2007 from Detroit. I miss my friends and fam back in Michigan, but now that I’ve made the jump across the country – I’ll never look back.

Professionally, I enjoy social media, internet marketing, branded entertainment, running promotions and the art of advertising in general. I am a member of A2N2, Reno Tahoe YPN, and I volunteer my time with Planned Parenthood and Sierra Arts.  Personally, I love and appreciate the beautiful region I live in, and the great friends that I’ve made over the years that make each day better than the last! I’m happy-go-lucky and always looking for fun and new experiences.

In the past couple of years, I’ve calmed down, yet haven’t “grown up.”  I’ve met people that opened my eyes.  I learned (I’m learning) not to judge myself, and that I am more than an average young professional in a rat race. I LIVE life.
